In Malawi, elephants are often poached, or killed illegally, for their large front teeth called tusks. African Parks is a conservation organization, or a group that works to protect nature. In this text, Jacqueline Pratt-Tuke explains Project ""500 Elephants,"" an effort to help save the elephants living in Malawi.
